Vice President
Michelle Minter has over 20 years helping women gaining meaningful sobriety after drug and alcohol addiction. Most recently Michelle served as house manager and specialist in sober living for four years guiding 70+ women to regain their place in society, motherhood, and with their families. Michelle has served as a specialist in sober living and house manager at Genesis By The Lake, and is dedicated to assisting women change their lives.
Treasurer
Brandon attended Ohio State University and the University of Akron for profusion. Brandon assists our agency in many ways, but especially in his knowledge and ability with excel and budgeting. Brandon is a person in recovery from drugs and alcohol and gives back by assisting in reaching our financial goals.
Secretary
Angela received her Bachelor's in Social Work from Cleveland State University in 2017 and her Master's in Social Work from Cleveland State University in 2021, along with her Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant certification. Angela came to LOR sober housing as a resident in November 2020 and successfully completed the program in August 2021. She is grateful and honored to sit on the Board of Life of Recovery and give back to the place that gave her a solid foundation in sobriety. Angela has worked as an admissions counselor at IBH Addiction Recovery and is currently a case manager at Cleveland Clinic.
Board member
Amelia Jones is a dedicated mental health and substance abuse counselor who has worked in multiple areas of the recovery field. Throughout her career, she has served as a peer supporter for Family Reunification Through Recovery Court, a peer supervisor, an addiction counselor, a dual diagnosis counselor, and a clinical coordinator. Amelia graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Human and social services with a focus on Substance Abuse Counseling and obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University.
Amelia believes there is no “one size fits all” for recovery. She encourages everyone to find what fits and do it! She is proud to be on the board of Life of Recovery sober housing and is excited to help those in need.
